Magpie has public pages for features intended to be shared: account and booking pages, public calendars and events, published podcasts and books, public message boards, published sites, newsletter signup and archive pages, Supporters pages, Store storefronts, and public screen-recording links. Published Forms are also public unless the Form requires a Magpie sign-in.

Publication or visibility is controlled by the feature that owns the page. A public account profile does not automatically publish every book, calendar event, board, podcast, or Store. Test a share link in a signed-out browser when access matters.

Some unlisted links contain authority rather than public discovery. Guest order links and digital-download links include a secret token. Anyone who receives one may be able to open the order or file until it expires, so do not post it or forward it beyond the customer. A screen-recording link likewise grants access to anyone who has it even though it may not appear in a directory.

Changing a handle or object address can break old links. Unpublishing prevents future ordinary access but cannot retract copies already downloaded or shared.
