Your public profile and account details
Change the name, handle, bio, time zone, and public address used across Magpie.
Open Account settings from the identity menu. The Public profile section shows the identity Magpie uses wherever it identifies you publicly.
- Display name is the name shown to other people.
- Handle is the unique name used in your public account URL.
- Bio is the short description shown with your identity where supported.
- Public page is the shareable account and booking address.
Changing the handle changes account-level public URLs. Podcasts, books, sites, boards, stores, and similar objects can also have their own address component; their title or slug does not have to match your handle.
The Account details section shows the sign-in email, account creation date, and time zone. Times you enter or schedule are interpreted in that time zone unless the page says otherwise. Changing it does not alter the instant represented by an existing booking or scheduled newsletter.
