Connect Google Calendar
Block busy times, add meetings to Google Calendar, and create Google Meet links.
Open Integrations and connect Google Calendar. Google asks you to authorize calendar access, then returns to Magpie. A connected calendar is used to remove busy times from your public meeting page.
The Add new meetings to Google Calendar switch controls whether Magpie also creates an event for each new meeting. Turning it off does not disable busy-time checking. Existing Google events are not removed merely because the switch is turned off.
When Zoom is not connected, Magpie can create a Google Meet link with the calendar event. If Zoom is connected, Zoom takes priority for the conference link while the meeting can still be added to Google Calendar.
Cancelling a meeting removes its connected Google event. Disconnecting the integration stops future sync and conflict checks but does not erase ordinary events already in Google Calendar.
If Google authorization has expired, disconnect and reconnect it. If a meeting and its Google event remain inconsistent after reconnecting, Contact support.
