Design your Link-In-Bio List

Link-In-Bio List → Appearance is where your public page gets its look. Every control saves the moment you change it, and the preview at the top of the screen is the real page — the same markup and the same styling a visitor gets, in a smaller frame.

Nothing here can produce an unreadable page. Palettes are checked pairings of background and text; background patterns are mixed from your palette and your accent rather than from fixed colours; and if you set your own background colour, the text switches to whichever of black or white reads on it.

Colour

Palette sets the background and text colours together. There are fifteen, split into light and dark, plus Your accent colour, which builds the whole page out of the accent instead of a fixed pairing.

Accent colour is used for buttons, highlights, and the tint in a patterned background. Anything printed on the accent takes black or white automatically, so a pale accent gets dark text rather than white-on-yellow.

Background colour replaces the palette's background with one of your own, and the text follows it. The × beside it hands the background back to the palette; it's only there while you have a colour set.

Background is how that colour is painted:

• Flat colour — one colour, edge to edge.
• Vertical fade, Corner glow, Aurora — the accent bled into the background from the top, a corner, or several at once.
• Dot grid, Line grid, Diagonal stripes, Fine grain — a pattern drawn in your text colour at low strength.
• Vignette — darker at the edges than the middle.

Shape

Container is whether your links sit in a box. No container is the default, and it's the one to keep unless you have a reason not to: the column sits straight on the background with no edge of its own, so the background is what the page looks like. Panel, Outlined, Raised, Frosted glass, and Full-height sheet each draw a container instead.

Layout sets how wide the column runs and how links are arranged. Stacked is one full-width link per row. Two across puts links in pairs, with headings and dividers still running the full width. Compact rows tightens the spacing for a long list.

Typeface changes the whole page. Sans and Serif are already loaded and cost nothing; Display, Typewriter, and Rounded each fetch one font file when someone opens your public page.

Links

Button style is how each link is drawn. Solid, Outline, and Soft are the plain three. Glass and Hard shadow are built to sit on a patterned background. Text only drops the button entirely and leaves a line of type with a rule under it.

Corners applies to the container as well as the buttons, so a square page doesn't end up with a boxy button inside a rounded panel.

A link that has its own colour set in the editor keeps that colour and ignores the button style. That's the point of setting one.

Header

Picture is the shape of your profile image. Banner uses it as a full-width cover image instead of a small portrait. Hidden leaves it off this page without removing it from your profile.

Alignment puts the name and description centred, left, or beside the picture rather than under it. (A banner picture ignores Beside the picture, because there's nothing to sit beside.)

Social profiles draws the row under your name as bare icons, icons in filled circles, or the platform names as text.
