Create and use message boards
Run a team or public discussion board with linked posts, Markdown text, and comments.
Create a board from Message Boards. Choose its owner team, name, address, description, and visibility. A public board can be read without an account; a team board requires the applicable team access.
Members with posting access can add a title, optional external link, and optional Markdown body. A link post can point discussion at another page while the text explains why it matters. Comments and replies form a discussion under the post. Signed-in members with access can upvote or downvote posts and comments; choosing the same vote again updates that member's recorded vote rather than creating extra votes.
Board settings let authorized members change the name, description, and visibility. The address is shown as part of the board's permanent identity and should be chosen before sharing it widely. Making a board private prevents future public reading; it does not retract copies people already made.
Delete or moderate content according to the board's team rules. Do not place private information in a public post or assume an unlisted address is access control.
