Generate website icons

Open Favicon Generator and choose an image. You can browse for a PNG, JPEG, GIF, or WebP file, drop one onto the upload area, or paste an image from the clipboard.

Non-square images are padded without stretching. The padding colour comes from the image's top-left pixel. A PNG with a transparent background is usually the best choice when the icon does not fill the whole square.

Select Generate package, then download the ZIP. It includes browser, Apple, Android, maskable, Microsoft, and setup files. Maskable icons have extra padding so Android can crop them into different launcher shapes without cutting off the logo.

The source image is saved in your image library as a favicon project. The project records when it was created, when it was last generated, and how many times it has been downloaded. The ZIP is created when you download it and is not saved on the server, so you can return to this page and generate it again later.

Delete a saved favicon project from the project list when you no longer need it. Deleting the project does not delete the source image from your image library.
