Keep a contact list
Store names, companies, contact methods, addresses, tags, notes, and customer defaults.
Contacts belong to the selected Personal or team context. Search the list by name or company, or create a contact from the page action.
A contact can store a structured name, display name, company, several email
addresses, phone numbers and postal addresses, and one primary value of each
kind. Labels such as work or billing explain how a value is used. Notes are
private to the owning context.
Tags group contacts for your own use. Select existing tags or add a new tag while editing; the new tag is created when the contact is saved. Customer details include the default payment-term length and billing address used when starting an invoice. Adding a contact from the invoice editor returns to the preserved draft with that contact selected.
Country fields that request a short code use the two-letter country form such
as CA or US. A contact with invoices on file cannot be deleted because the
invoice history must keep its customer relationship.
Plan limits apply to the number of contacts. If a saved contact appears missing, check the selected context. If its data is present but cannot be opened, Contact support.
